Schertz sits on the I-35 corridor between San Antonio and New Braunfels and reaches south toward I-10, with parts of the city in Guadalupe, Comal and Bexar counties. It borders Universal City, Cibolo, Selma and Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, so a lot of local businesses mix office space, warehouse space and service vehicles on the same site.

Typical Schertz buildings and what they need
Warehouses and distribution buildings
Long distances between the office, the dock and the shop floor usually outgrow a single copper run. A fiber backbone between closets plus Cat6A drops for access points keeps scanners, printers and Wi-Fi on one reliable network.
Offices, clinics and professional suites
Tenant build-outs along FM 3009 and Schertz Parkway need data drops planned before drywall, a tidy rack, and business Wi-Fi sized for the room count, then day-to-day IT support once people move in.
Retail and service businesses
Point-of-sale stations, back-office PCs and guest Wi-Fi should sit on separate network segments. We wire it, label it and document it so the next change is simple.
Schertz, TX questions
Who provides managed IT, fiber and structured cabling in Schertz, TX?
Nice2GeekYou, based in San Antonio and serving all of Texas, provides Managed IT support, fiber optic installation and splicing, and Cat6/Cat6A structured cabling for Schertz businesses. We work on-site in Schertz from our San Antonio base, with remote help between visits. Call (210) 920-8882 or request a quote to scope your project.
Do you handle cabling for new commercial builds in Schertz?
Yes. We coordinate low-voltage rough-in with the general contractor's schedule, so data and access point runs go in after electrical rough and before insulation and drywall. Tenant build-outs along FM 3009 and Schertz Parkway also need a tidy rack and business Wi-Fi sized for the room count, which we plan at the same time.
Can you connect a warehouse and an office on the same Schertz property?
Yes. That is typically a fiber job: a backbone between the two buildings or closets, then Cat6 or Cat6A drops inside each one. It keeps scanners, printers and Wi-Fi on one reliable network across the dock, the shop floor and the office. Tell us the layout and we'll scope it.
Do you offer ongoing IT support in Schertz, not just installs?
Yes. Our Managed IT plans cover patching and network health checks, with remote and on-site support options depending on the plan. Schertz offices get remote help for everyday issues and on-site visits from our San Antonio base when something physical needs hands-on work.
