Highly recommended! Carlos came and fixed everything for us and even met the spectrum guy. We've had issues for years and he fixed all of it after dealing with 10 failed visits from spectrum tech. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Wow!!!! We had talked about improving our Internet speed by hard wiring our home, but didn’t know how to go about it. We didn’t want ethernet cords all over the house inside or a bunch of wires all over the exterior of the house. I met Carlos through BNI and he came with lots of strong referrals for doing excellent work and being reliable and trustworthy. My husband works from home full time and has to login with VPN which on wifi slows down the internet. I told my husband about Nice 2 Geek You and he immediately told me to get them to come out and give us an estimate. I reached out and it was scheduled for a few days later. The estimate was very reasonable so we moved forward with the installation of three hardwired ports — one upstairs and two downstairs. They cut into the sheet rock to place the ethernet ports and did a clean job on all three! The wiring on the exterior of the house looks professional and clean as well. We were very pleased with the results and my husband is very happy with the Internet speed improvement. We both HIGHLY recommend that if you work from home, you get a hardwired port instead of using Wi-Fi. Two of the ports were for work computers but one was for fun for the tv and PlayStation 5 in the loft upstairs. My boys and husband love that there is ZERO lag for gaming. Alfredo, Brian, and Carlos did an amazing job. When Google Fiber could not get the connection where we needed it, Nice2GeekYou came in with real solutions and got it done right. They ran two protected Ethernet cables through PVC underneath our gravel pathway to our external studio, giving the PC a true direct connection instead of relying only on Wi-Fi. They also ran wiring so our upstairs modem/router could properly connect to our downstairs add-on room too. They were professional, diligent, patient, and asked questions along the way to make sure the work was done correctly. Best of all, they handled two major jobs in one day. If anyone is struggling with Wi-Fi gaps, detached rooms, studios, gaming setups, or work-from-home connectivity, Nice2GeekYou can absolutely bridge that gap. They take a frustrating problem and turn it into a setup that seriously amps up your work and gaming experience. Highly recommend! 🔥

The people were nice and overall got the job done, however: -1: Late to every appointment and no communication of scheduling or tardiness. Usually an hour + -1: Came for a site survey (they were late to) I gave him all the information they needed and they took 4 days to come up with the quote. Which was way off of what they would actually charge me to do the quoted job. Ex: Quote was ~750 job done that way would have actually been ~1350+. -1: They told me about the upcharges the day of as they were doing the work, it put me in an uncomfortable position and felt at best like poor planning and at worst a sale pressure tactic. -1: They did half of the promised job on the promised date and then basically told me id have to wait 5 days for the other half. They were late to that too. I would have reconsidered the way the job would be done if they quoted me correctly or given a better idea of the work required. I can't justify a good rating. Edit: They offered me a discount on my next job and apologized.

Carlos knows his stuff!! Everything running great! His employees Alfredo and Edward are top notch employees. Our job wasn't easy but I appreciated their patience and dedication to do everything they needed to do to get the job done! Highly recommend this business.

After having three Spectrum come out to tell me the phone problem cannot be solved without replacing all the wiring in the business and house. Carlos solved the problem in three hours and restored all he phone service perfectly. Never call Spectrum to come out and solve problems with their system, just call Carlos.

Dotnet Framework wouldn't allow me to install my printer. I use old school equipment. My computer was not online. I use a tablet for online activities. Carlos explained to me what was going to have to be done. I'm sure he must have been wondering why I just didn't go out and purchase a new computer, instead of staying with my current setup. I explained to him that I have a thirty-year old Adobe Photoshop disc installed that I could not install in a newer machine. He took up the challenge and five hours later, success! Did a great job installing ethernet cables from one side of my office through the attic to another wall for hidden wires. They were very knowledgeable and experienced. Tested all equipment before finishing the project. Would definitely recommend doing business with them!

While most other companies were closed for New Year's Day, Carlos was willing to visit my home and repair my CAT6 ethernet cable that was broken by Google Fiber's installation techs. He respected our home by removing his shoes when he entered. He repaired my cable within 20 minutes and encouraged me to test and confirm my network was functioning properly before he departed. BEWARE!!! Total rip off. I needed my Sonos system and network set up in my house. The tech came and unplugged a router extender and got the Sonos going and said the router extender was the problem. He was there approximately 20min and charged me $130.00. My Sonos still does not work and after researching myself I found that the Sonos system needs to be set up on fixed IP addresses. I do not know how to do that. I called their store and explained to them what the problem was and asked them to come and fix it. They said they can come out but it’ll be another charge of $50.00. I told them absolutely not especially after paying $130.00 for literally 15-20 minutes of work (which I helped out on)... REALLY???? This place is a TOTAL RIP OFF!!! DO NOT USE. Reply to nice2geekyou’s reply: I was NEVER told by the tech anything about running more tests. Of course I was happy when he left - it was all working. Very shady place. Bottom line they didn’t perform the service I paid for. He did a quick fix and left. And the initial consult to me was $80 and then when he got there he threw a $50 “gas” charge on top of it. I’ll be seeking legal action against this company. There are SO MANY tech companies out there. I would recommend staying away from them as they are a very dishonest company... I actually gave them a good rating after they fixed it and would’ve let them fix it this time.. but not for another $50 “gas” charge after I already gave them $80 for service and $50 for gas. Their office is less than 20 miles from my house. That’s A LOT of gas for 15-20 miles. Very dishonest company. I even called and asked again.... only for $50. Wow!!!
